Accreditation Council: Positive Decision on MBA Programs

The Austrian Accreditation Council made a positive decision
on the  accreditation of the study programs MBA in Public
Governance and Management
and MBA in New Media
Technology and Management
on June 24, 2008.

The MBA in New Media Technology and Management is tailored to students of different educational backgrounds who intend to specialize in new media in conjunction with advanced knowledge and information management. These technologies revolutionize the economic foundations of many industries and thus have a significant impact on strategic business decisions. To survive and flourish in such a dynamic and increasingly competitive business environment, decision makers need to re-examine their knowledge assets and identify new methods to exploit them more effectively. The unique MBA program in Public Governance and Management
offers insight into the interplay of civic, economic and political forces in the policy making processes. It addresses mechanisms of democratization of political processes as well as the transformation of the state due to globalization and the increasing importance of intergovernmental organizations such as the European Union. Opportunities for individual specialization of students in the fields of Public Management, Economic Development Strategies, Sustainable Development and Collaborative Processes are also offered.
