- After two years in the private sector, Manfred Fasching joined the City of Vienna in June 1999. For almost six years, he was part of the implementation program for New Public Management as an internal business consultant at the Chief Executive Office for Organisation in the department for Strategic Controlling within the Viennese City Administration.
Since 2004, he has worked as a project manager for change management projects, e.g. redesign of strategic controlling and reporting systems, redesign of the public health sector and currently on strategic development of the Viennese consumer protection and service sector.
Manfred Fasching has been teaching controlling and change management in trainings for both controlling and management staff since 2002 and has a special interest in the systemic and philosophical aspects of team orientated work in change processes.
Among his duties as a Project Manager for change projects in the City of Vienna, Fasching is a freelance business consultant, systemic coach and IPMA Level B Certified Senior Project Manager.
When not working, Manfred Fasching plays the guitar in his own band and practices Qi Gong for which he has a diploma as a trainer for Shaolin Qi Gong.
