- Short Bio
- As of January 2008, Stefan Gindl joined MODUL University Vienna as a researcher at the Department of New Media Technology, working on the RAVEN Project. During his studies of Medical Informatics at the Vienna University of Technology he worked as a student assistant. Besides, he collected experience in event management. In his diploma thesis on "Negation Detection in Clinical Practice Guidelines", he investigated current algorithms for negation detection in the medical domain. Moreover, he developed and implemented algorithms suitable for the detection of negated phrases in clinical practice guidelines.
