  • 1992 – 2002 Assistent at the Institute for Psychology at the University of Vienna, Department of Methodology and Differential Psychology.
  • Scientific research and programming for psychological test theory, especially Item Response Theory (Rasch models)
  • Extensive teaching of psychological methodology and statistics, supervision of master’s theses
  • 2002 to 2005: Head of unit Social and Educational Statistics at Statistics Austria (Directorate Population)
  • 2006 to 2007 Head of unit Science, Technology, and Education (Directorate Population) at Statistics Austria
  • Since fall 2007 Associate Professor in Applied Statistics at MODUL University Vienna
  • 2005 Member of the international Technical Review Panel for the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA)
