International Seminar: Knowledge is Power. Uniting Knowledge Institutions, DMOs and NTOs for collaborative success

Together with European Travel Commission (ETC), and City Destinations Alliance (CityDNA), we at Modul University Vienna hosted our annual workshop and international seminar on September 07-08, 2023 in a hybrid format. We looked at important issues and collaboration between DMOs and knowledge partners together with city, regional, national, and international tourism organizations, as well as universities and companies from the hospitality and tourism industry.

We sincerely thank all who participated in our 2023 hybrid event and hope to welcome you back at Modul University Vienna next September 2024!

This year, along with the European Forum at the Hebrew University, we had the pleasure of hosting the scientific conference, "European Tourism Research in the Age of Sustainability and Technology"

In collaboration with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Modul University hosted a one-day scientific conference on September 6, 2023, focused on challenges that European tourism now faces due to the rapid growth of tourism and its concentration in time and space. We were honored to have Prof. Sara Donicar and Prof. Xavier Font as the keynote speakers and thank all presenters and participants for a successful conference.
