Current Issues in the International Hotel Industry

A new series of events about the latest trends and innovations in tourism starts at MODUL University Vienna. The first event concerns the most recent developments in the hospitality industry.

Guest speaker for this event is Prof. Tom Baum, Head of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Department at the University of Strathclyde. Mr Baum has a research and publications profile with a very strong international focus. His prime research interests lie in the area of people and work in the international hospitality and tourism sector. Within this, particular work focuses on skills formation and hospitality/tourism education and training, especially at a national level.
