Integrating Biodiversity and Economic Development

The 5th appointment with MODUL University Vienna seminars deals with the environment surrounding the University itself: the Wienerwald!
Our guest speaker, Mr. Christian Diry, will introduce the concept of biosphere reserves in describing the origin and the development of the requirements for this UNESCO predicate. He will use the Biosphere Wienerwald’s projects as vivid example.
The seminar will take place on May 15, 2009 from 2.45 p.m .

The seminar is open to students and to the staff of MU Vienna, as well as to the public (for the latter, registration is required).
