Dear Lauren, You can find

Dear Lauren,
You can find tourism statistics in our online platform TourMIS. TourMIS is a Marketing-Information-System, whose major aim is to provide information and decision support for tourism managers and scholars. TourMIS provides on-line tourism survey data, as well as various tools to transform data into precious management information. Currently, TourMIS has more than 10,000 registered users, among them many authorized tourism organizations, societies, tourism consultants, companies, tourism training centers, pressure groups, etc. in Austria and abroad. Approximately 1,700 users use TourMIS on a day-by-day basis.

The databases of European Cities Marketing (ECM) and the European Travel Commission (ETC) are among the most popular sources in TourMIS: today more than 130 market research experts in the various city tourism organizations (CTOs) regularly enter figures on bednights, arrivals broken down into the major markets of origin as well as the number of accommodation suppliers, beds and occupancy ratios in their cities.

Registration to the system is for free. In order to register, please follow the next few steps:
1. visit the web site www.tourmis.info;
2. click on the link “how to register” (the second link from top in the menu on the left-hand side);
3. fill in the online form and click on the button “ok” at the bottom of the page.
