MODUL University Vienna's Blogosphere
Welcome to the scientific weblogs of MODUL University Vienna! A team of 22 interdisciplinary faculty members is presenting their latest research results in four areas: Tourism and Hospitality Management, New Media Technology, Public Governance and Sustainability. The aim is to establish and advance knowledge transfer between research and industry and to provide an insight into the scientific output of MODUL University Vienna. The informal character of Weblogs (Blogs) eases and accelerates communication channels between academia and industry.
The four core research areas also represent the industries that are the closest partners of the university:
- New Media Technology | www.modul.ac.at/nmt/blog
- Public Governance | www.modul.ac.at/pgm/blog
- Tourism | www.modul.ac.at/thm/blog
- Sustainability | www.modul.ac.at/sustainability/blog
The academic environment at MU Vienna allows for close collaboration and exchange of ideas between academia and practice through students, international cooperation and active engagement with social discourse. In turn, practitioners benefit not only from industry-relevant studies, but also from graduates that are best-prepared for the complexities of tomorrow's business.
Environmental and social sustainability is a key principle of MODUL University Vienna, acknowledging and embracing the urgent need for development strategies that meet the needs of the present and improve the welfare of future generations. Sustainability represents an integral part of the curriculum and research agenda, and is also reflected in the daily workflow, as presented in our Sustainability Blog.
