MODUL University Vienna was recently recognized by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the United Nations agency responsible for the promotion of responsible, sustainable and universally accessible tourism, for excellence in tourism education. Based on the strength of our study programs BBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management, MSc in International Tourism management, and MBA with a major in Tourism Management, MU was awarded UNWTO.TedQual certification, the highest international mark of quality given to tourism education institutions worldwide.

MODUL University Vienna is a great place to study – and now 13 more college counselors know why. For the second annual counselor fly in, MU invited the diverse group from international high schools in Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Serbia, Belgium, Turkey, China, and Hungary.

From May 2nd-3rd and 9th-10th, the selected representatives got to experience MU and Vienna firsthand, in order to better inform their students about their post-secondary education opportunities.

Katrin Melle is Director of Human Resources for Hyatt International, Europe, Africa and Middle East, based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Hyatt manages, franchises, owns and develops Hyatt branded hotels, resorts and residential and vacation ownership of 478 properties around the world. Ms. Mellehas been with Hyatt since 1989, holding several positions in Rooms, Training and Human Resources, and served as Area Director of Human Resources for Hyatt in Central Europe before moving into her current position.
