The final session of the Mentoring class took place on January 26th, 2010 at 04:30 pm. Two groups of students presented on the projects which they worked on with their mentors:

The ESADE Alumni Tourism Management Club invited Prof. Karl Wöber, President of MODUL University Vienna, to give a keynote at the annual conference of tourism professionals and former students of ESADE University.

Introductory session of the Mentoring class took place on Monday, October 05th, 2009 at 18:00. This first session was a great opportunity to invite the mentors of the fall 2009 course and to welcome them to MU Vienna. The purpose of this informal gathering was threefold: (1) to introduce the objectives and contents of the Mentoring class; (2) to give the opportunity to mentors and accepted students to introduce themselves and to get acquainted with each other; (3) to discuss the assignments and to announce individual appointments.

Ms. Wei Shi, student of the MU Vienna MBA in Tourism Management program, was selected as the winner of the Scholarship of Hope 2009. She has been selected at the discretion by the Committee for the Scholarship of Hope which acts as a reviewing body of students' project proposals.

At its 84th session on 13th and 14th of October, the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), located in Madrid, Spain, officially accepted MODUL University Vienna (MU Vienna) as its affiliated member, making it the first university in Austria to be recognized by the UNWTO.
