Leadership

“Leadership” is designed to assist the participant in leading individuals, groups, and organizations effectively. The course is built upon both traditional and cutting edge research on leadership and social behavior within organizations. The course employs multiple methods to facilitate learning: lectures, case analyses, small group discussions, experiential exercises, video presentations, self-assessment tools, and a leadership development plan. Topics include: leading across culture, performance coaching and feedback, building relational trust, and leading via goal setting.

SMERAL David M. Sluss is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. As Vice President and Partner at PathWise (a management training consultancy) he previously designed and conducted management training on topics such as leadership, performance coaching, and problem solving & decision making.
