Erasmus exchange program

MODUL University Vienna was awarded the ERASMUS University Charter thus enabling the University to participate in the European exchange program. ERASMUS offers students the possibility of studying at other European universities. No university fees abroad have to be paid and additional grants might be available. Furthermore, student placements and teacher mobility can be conducted.

Erasmus ("European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students") is the European Commission's educational program supporting student mobility among universities across Europe. The program enables students in 31 European countries to study for part of their degree in another European country. The aim is to enable recognition of the courses completed abroad.

Outgoing and incoming students do not need to pay any tuition fees at the host institution. Erasmus grants might be available to help cover travel and subsistence costs abroad. The minimum exchange duration period is three months. Further information about the ERASMUS ECTS (ECTS - European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) can be found on the: European Commission web page.
