MU ranked best Austrian Private university at Industriemagazin MBA Ranking 2010

The well-known Austrian INDUSTRIE MAGAZIN has published his annual ranking of the leading MBA programs in Austria and for the first time MODUL University Vienna is part of that list. The evaluation aimed to investigate the image of 250 postgraduate degrees offered by Austrian institutions. MODUL University Vienna was ranked best Austrian Private University and overall 11th institution, directly after the Public University of Vienna.

The evaluation is based upon interviews with 385 managers of leading companies in Austria. The report provides two different rankings: The first ranking is based on the opinion of people who have no specific prior knowledge about our university, the second ranking is based on the opinion of people who had some kind of contact with us (e.g. as a student, lecturer, industry contact, etc.).

People who had no prior contact with MU rank MODUL University Vienna as #11 among 34 public, private, and applied universities in Austria that offer MBA programs.

The ranking of universities based upon the opinion of 'informed' managers of leading even ranks MU as #4, leaving well-known Austrian business schools (Innsbruck, Graz, Salzburg, Linz) behind.
