Digital Earth - Environmental New Media Applications
This course will provide a framework for critically examining the influence on science and society of 3-dimensional geobrowsers, such as Google Earth, as components of the Digital Earth initiative. Participants will be introduced to the historical trends and leading applications for a comprehension assessment of technical and structural challenges in the future development of community-based decision support systems.
