Effective Public Management in Diverse Societies
This course provides an introduction to theories and practices of equality and diversity management which includes a discussion of related policies found in the EU and USA. The aim of the course is to increase familiarity with public policies and governmental approaches to reducing discrimination and achieving equality in diverse societies. Participants will analyze key components of successful gender equality and diversity management approaches in the public sector. After completion of the course, participants are able to make a case for a strategy or intervention to reduce discrimination or increase equality.
