MBA in Tourism Management

Eligibility for Admission

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Economics OR any other equivalent degree plus a minimum of three years’ professional experience. Exceptionally, candidates without a university degree may be admitted, providing they can give evidence of comparable qualifications.
• Three years of professional work experience.
• All candidates whose native language is not English and who have not graduated from an undergraduate program conducted in English are required to provide proof of proficiency in the English language by showing that they have passed one of the tests below or by satisfying the Admission Committee in a form deemed appropriate by the Committee.
  • TOEFL 570 PBT or 230 CBT or 88 IBT OR
  • IELTS 6.5 (no sub-score under 6.0)
• MODUL University Vienna reserves the right to request that individual applicants submit TOEFL or IELTS scores, even if they have attended a secondary school conducted in English, to ensure their English skills meet the expected academic level.
• CV and motivation letter
• Two letters of recommendation, or a list of publications

All applicants will be interviewed in English. These interviews will enable the Admission Committee both to clarify issues arising from candidates’ applications and to assess their personality profiles. At the same time it will permit the Committee to understand what applicants expect of the MBA program. Candidates with relevant professional experience will be prioritized.

Tuition Fee
The tuition fee for the entire Master Program is EUR 28,000. The tuition fee includes study material.

Early Bird Discount
For first installment payments before 31st May there will be a reduction of EUR 1,000.00 from the total tuition fee for the program. This amount will be deducted from the amount owing for the second installment.
