Enrollment and Admission
BBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management
(It is possible to start the program in March or Mid-September)
- Eligibility for Admission

- Qualification to enter university (e.g. allgemeine Universitätsreife, A-levels, baccalauréat, secondary school leaving certificate, high school diploma or equivalent)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- All participants whose native language is not English or have not attended a secondary school conducted in English need to provide proof of proficiency in the English language by submitting scores of one of the following tests:
- TOEFL 540 Paper-Based Test or 207 Computer-Based Test or 76 Internet-Based Test OR
- IELTS band score 5.5 (no sub-score under 5.0)
MODUL University Vienna reserves the right to request that individual applicants submit TOEFL or IELTS scores, even if they have attended a secondary school conducted in English, to ensure their English skills meet the expected academic level.
- Tuition fee
- The tuition fee is € 25,000 for the entire program. The study fee does not include costs for study material. The first installment of € 10,000 is to be remitted to the account indicated on the application form within 30 days of written assurance of admission, and at least one week before the study semester starts. The second, third and fourth installments of € 5,000 each are to be remitted, at the latest, 30 days prior to the beginning of the 3rd, 5th and 6th terms respectively.
- Early Bird Discount
- If the student pays the first installment before 31st May (for the fall intake) or 30th November (for the spring intake), then a reduction of EUR 1,000.00 will be granted for the total study fee for the program.
- Student Visa
- If you are a resident of a third country, it is highly recommended that you submit your complete application by April 30th at the latest. Residents of third countries require a visa to enter and stay in Austria. To check if you live in a third country please visit www.oead.ac.at/english/austria/entry/index.html
Obtaining a student visa can take up to 6 months. Please keep this in mind when you are applying - make sure that you leave yourself enough time so that you will arrive on time for the beginning of the semester at the end of September (or the beginning of March for the spring intake).
