MODUL University Vienna hosted its annual events on September 12 and 13, 2019: the 15th TourMIS Users’ Workshop (day 1) and International Seminar on Innovation in Tourism Planning (day 2). More than 80 delegates attended this year’s events, the majority of whom represented city and national tourist organizations, as well as international tourism organizations, universities, and companies from the hospitality and tourism industry. In addition to the regular workshop attendees we happily welcome every year, there were also many new faces in the audience, eager to learn about TourMIS and about innovation in tourism planning – a topic which is making its way to the top of the agenda in a growing number of destinations. Both events were generously sponsored by the Austrian National Tourist Office and Vienna Tourist Board, and we would like to thank them for their continuous support.
We are all looking forward to the next year’s workshop!
