Bachelor Requirements by Country

Bachelor entry requirements for students from International Schools:
For direct entry to our Bachelor degree programs, we usually require students from International Schools to have successfully completed their secondary education and hold a School Leaving Certificate/ High School Leaving Certificate

IB Diploma:

For direct entry the student must provide an IB Diploma (min. 24 points) with Math Studies score of minimum 5 points, a Math Standard Level score of minimum 4 points, Analysis and Approaches SL minimum 4 points or HL minimum 3 points, Applications and Interpretation SL minimum 4 points or HL minimum 3 points. In case the math score is lower than the required points the student must complete our Math Foundation course.

American program: 

The student must complete a High School Leaving Certificate with a minimum GPA score of 3.0. Additionally we require either:

• 4 APs (including math and a language)
• SAT test results with the following scores:

New test: A score of at least 1360 points shall be shown in the sections Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing. With a score of 1220 points, the evidence of supplementary achievements to the extent of 1 academic year is required. Alternatively, foundation program for 1 semester will be recommended.

Old test: For high schools diplomas before March 2016, the following scores are applied: A score of 1300 points in the sections Math and  Evidence-Based Reading and Writing. With 1150 points the evidence of supplementary achievements to the extent of one academic year is required.

• ACT min. 29 points (composite score). 

With 23 points (for diplomas up to May 2014) or 25 points (afterwards), the evidence of supplementary achievements to the extent of one academic year is required.  Alternatively, foundation program for 1 semester will be recommended.

British program: 

3 general, independent subjects at GCE (A Level) with a minimum grade of C

• Two of these must be either a Language, History, Geography, Social studies/Politics, Business/Economics, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Computer Science.
• The third subject must be independent of the other 2 subjects from either the list above or below subjects: Art & design, Drama and Theatre, Music, Philosophy, Physical Education, Psychology, Religious Studies

Bachelor English Test Requirements:
All candidates must provide proof of English proficiency level B2. We accept the following certificates:

Exceptions will only be considered for students who are English natives or have completed their high school education entirely in English at recognized International Schools following American, British, or IB curricula.

Applicants who do not meet our admissions requirements for direct entry into the Bachelor degree programs may consider applying for our Foundation Program.

Bachelor Entry Requirements:

For direct entry to our Bachelor degree programs, we usually accept the Apolytirio of a Lykio with Vevaiosi Symmetochis, with at least 10,000 points. If the subjects from the high school diploma are not related to the Bachelor program, the candidate will be required to do one of our Foundation Programs first.

Candidates holding the Apolytirio Omadas A or B of An Epangelmatiko Lykio with Vevaios are required to follow one of our Foundation Programs to be admitted to our Bachelor programs.

Applicants with an equivalent nationally recognized school leaving certificate are invited to apply and will be assessed on an individual basis.

Admission to our Foundation and Bachelor Programs usually requires students to have successfully completed their secondary education: Lise Diplomasi (since 2011) in conjunction with the proof of passing the Turkish university entrance examination. 

Students with a diploma from the Anatolischen Imam-Hatip-Oberschulen (Anadolu Imam Hatip Lisesi) are considered as having the equivalent of an Austrian school leaving certificate and do not need to complete the foundation program.

Bachelor Entry Requirements:
For direct entry to our Bachelor degree programs, we usually require students from United Kingdom to have successfully completed their secondary education: A-levels (GCE)

4 GCE (A Level) subjects must be proven, which must be independent of each other and have general, not vocational, content. Among these examination subjects, the following must be represented:

• a language
• Mathematics or one of the natural sciences of biology, chemistry or physics.

For direct entry to our Bachelor degree programs, we usually require students from Lebanon to have successfully completed their secondary education: the Baccalaureat Libanais diploma, with at least 12 points or a minimum of 60% of the maximum grade.

Candidates with other types of certificates from Lebanon (such as Baccalaureat Technique Baccalaureat de L'Enseignement Secondaire, Deuxieme Partie) are required to follow our Foundation Program to be admitted to our Bachelor programs. Please check requirements for MU's Foundation Program.

Applicants with an equivalent nationally recognized school leaving certificate are invited to apply and will be assessed on an individual basis.

Bachelor Entry Requirements:
For direct entry to our Bachelor degree programs we require students from China to first successfully complete our Modul University Foundation Program.
Admission to our Foundation and Bachelor Programs usually requires students to have successfully completed their secondary education: 12 years of education in China and attained the Secondary School Leaving Certificate

Applicants with an equivalent nationally recognized school leaving certificate are invited to apply and will be assessed on an individual basis.

Admission to our Foundation and Bachelor Program usually requires students to have successfully completed their secondary education: Standard XII Higher Secondary School Certificates (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education ICSE, All India Secondary School Certificate CBSE or the Secondary School Leaving Certificate SSC) (12 years)

Applicants with an equivalent nationally recognized school leaving certificate are invited to apply and will be assessed on an individual basis.
