Modulians present Brand Award 2018

The MODUL Brand Award was established in 2016 to distinguish the most innovative hotel operations focusing on the industries fastest growing group of consumers: Millennials.

Travel habits of this target group were reflected from all sites in order to come up with the best answer for the following question: What is the most attractive leisure resort hotel for Millennials in 2018?

The 2018 Brand Award by MODUL University Vienna offered a conclusion to the event which looked to the future of the tourism industry. The prize for the best "Leisure Hotels for Millennials” went to “Arborea”, “Mama Thresl” and “Bikini Island & Mountain Hotels”.

Already in its third year, the students of MODUL University Vienna presented the findings and final results to an audience of industry professionals from the International Hotel Investment and Design Club Forum on November 8th 2018, at the Hilton Vienna.

The MODUL Brand Award presentation has become an integral part of the conference and shows the capacity of MODUL University Vienna to combine academic studies with the current demands of the hospitality industry. The project was supervised by a team of hospitality professionals and by the dean of the undergraduate school Dr. Florian Aubke.

The group was coached by Aneta Ykema, an MBA graduate from MODUL Uiversity Vienna who also participated in the brand award last year.
