MSc student Lukas Stangl selected as part of KPMG Artificial Ideation Challenge

Modul University Vienna are pleased to announce that MSc in Management student Lukas Stangl (right), alongside three students from Bocconi University, were announced as national champions of the KPMG Artificial Ideation Challenge. This cross-university team were chosen from several in the region as Germany's winning team, and will progress to the final co-development weekend in Amsterdam this May.

The KPMG Artificial Ideation Challenge asks promising young students to answer the question: how can intelligent automation and artificial intelligence change the way a business services their customer base? Lukas, along with his finalist teammates, will be competing with other teams from across the globe for an exclusive invitation to KPMG’s Lighthouse Summit in October 2019.

Lukas is no stranger to competitions of this caliber, having already represented MU at the prestigious HYATT Student Prize in Paris.

“I am really proud to once again represent Modul University Vienna on an international level,” says Lukas “along with my colleagues from Bocconi I look forward to showing the judges how we can change lives using machine learning”.

Lukas joined Modul University Vienna in 2015 to study for a BSc in International Management. Whilst at MU he formed pop-rock band The Oceans with his fellow students. He has since graduated from the bachelor program and is now studying for an MSc in Management.

We wish Lukas all the best and good luck with the co-development weekend in Amsterdam!
