New Master of Science in Management begins in fall 2016

MODUL University Vienna is pleased to announce a new Master of Science program for Fall 2016!

The MSc in Management is a two-year, full-time, consecutive management program targeting applicants holding undergraduate degrees in business or a related field of study. The program builds a foundation in management and deepens students’ knowledge of global business competencies by preparing them for the complex and demanding international standards in general management areas.

“MU is excited to launch a brand new Master of Science degree geared towards students looking for a well-rounded graduate-level education in management,’’ says Krista Cupich, MSc Program Manager.  ‘’Knowing that today’s graduates likely will make several career changes in their working life, we’ve carefully  designed a program suitable for students from diverse disciplinary backgrounds who want to be ready to respond to the ever-changing needs of 21st century global business.  We’re continuing to build on the strong reputation of our existing MSc programs, and the new MSc in Management degree will be a great complement to round out MU’s offering of graduate programs.”

Students will build a solid foundation in general management through the core course curriculum, and also have the opportunity to tailor their degree according to their preferences and interests. Unique to the Master in Management, students are able to select a specialization track for their enrichment courses to earn a certificate in either Business Development, Interactive Marketing and Social Media, or Service Management and Tourism, fields which resonate well with the core competencies of MU faculty and guarantee education with leading researchers in these fields.

Students also have the option to diversify and complete Enrichment Courses from all three fields of specialization. In addition, they can take advantage of integrating an internship in a local or international setting within their curriculum.

"Our program offers a broad foundation and the option to specialize as well as opportunity for personal development, growth, international experience and hands-on learning opportunities," says Dean Prof. Astrid Dickinger.

Applications are now open for fall 2016. All members of the first cohort will receive a scholarship of €5,000, bringing the cost of the entire two-year program down to €19,000, with the opportunity for other reductions such as the Early Bird and alumni grant for MODUL University and Tourism School MODUL graduates.
