Team spirit at the Wien Energie Business Run

Three teams from Modul University Vienna recently participated in the Wien Energie Business Run 2015, where teams of colleagues from a wide variety of companies around Austria participated in the annual run. Ten staff and faculty ran alongside over a record number of 30,000 runners and nordic walkers from 1,123 companies on the 4.1 km course.

The starting and finish line was at the Ernst Happel Stadium in the Viennese Prater, with much of the course running though one of Vienna’s largest and most beloved green spaces.

Our teams at the starting line, representing MU with members from four out of five academic departments, information services, and the academic office, had been training throughout the year, even persisting though the record heat of the summer to run their fastest.

''Participating in the Vienna Business Run was a great experience,’’ says BBA Program Manager Katrin Brückner. ‘’Not only are you working out, it is also a fantastic teambuilding activity. I enjoyed the run very much and will participate next year again!''

We looking forward to the Business Run 2016 and are enthusiastic about being at the starting line with more MU running teams!
