Campus Life

Student diversity and international friendships. Modul students come from 70 different countries and often speak more than two foreign languages. They bring a variety of diverse backgrounds and experience levels from many different countries and industries, creating a vibrant and mind-expanding community. Lifelong friendships are formed as ideas, career stories and personal insights are exchanged in an open and respectful environment conducive to learning and networking.

Student clubs for every interest. At MU we want our students to feel at home! The MU Club program aims to connect students who share the same interests and passions by encouraging them to join clubs and found their own. Clubs such as the MU Football Club, the Wine Society and the Hotel organize events that are open to the entire MU community, encouraging students to spend time with their peers doing what they enjoy the most. These activities can range from visits to hotels, sports activities, presentations by guest speakers, to culinary events, out-of-town excursions and more. Visit this page for more detailed information on the current MU clubs!

Sports on Kahlenberg. The Modul campus offers an ideal environment for outdoor sports and recreation. The campus borders the Vienna Woods, a large forest with excellent biking and hiking trails which even offers sledding in the winter. A challenging climbing trail and a relaxing public swimming area with a scenic view over Vienna are a mere 10 minutes away.

It also takes into consideration recreational offers such as restaurants, theaters, cinemas, sports facilities, availability of all kinds of consumer goods from food to cars, as well as environmental conditions - from green space to air quality.

Live in the heart of Europe. Vienna - Austria's capital city in the heart of Europe - serves as central hub to visit other major cities for interesting weekend trips: Prague, Rome, Venice, Paris, Zurich, and many more! A rich cultural heritage. Throughout the world, Vienna is known for its rich cultural past and present. An extensive program of art exhibitions, theatre, concerts, festivals and folklore events complete the cultural offering. Study in Austria

Austria is an ideal place to study. Austria is located in the center of Europe and offers you great social security and economic stability, generous hospitality and an overwhelming landscape, exciting cultural attractions and outdoor activities.

Reasonable cost of living. Although Austria is counted among the richest countries of the world, the general cost of living in Austria is not that high compared to other European countries. The average monthly living expenses for a student in Austria are approximately 700 to 950 euros. This may vary a bit, depending on your study location. And, of course, the amount of money you will need greatly depends on how economically you live.
