Courses offered in the field of Communication:

  • Advanced Business Communication (PT)
  • The course familiarizes students with essential business communication skills, such as giving presentations, dealing with questions, taking an active part in meetings and participating in negotiations. Different presentation techniques will be introduced and students prepare and structure presentations and speeches depending on specific purposes using current technologies. Advanced English communications of various types (reports, recommendations, job adverts, executive summaries, minutes) will be produced by using today’s technology. A special focus is given to
    core concepts of intercultural communication and the development of strategies for effective communication in an intercultural business environment.

  • Academic Writing (SE)
  • The key learning objectives of Academic Writing are to (1) help students with the laborious task of framing, designing and writing their thesis; (2) improve the students’ academic writing skills. By developing these skills, the students will find it easier to complete their Bachelor thesis. Successful completion of the thesis is a prerequisite for graduation from the Bachelor program.
