Advanced Data Analysis and Decision Making

Course Description

Students will be exposed to the most common statistical and econometric procedures and methods.  Opportunities for applying learned concepts in practice are built into the course structure.  Introduction to decision theory is taught, and  focus is given to foundations, mathematical description, and cognitive aspects of decision making.

 

Learning Objectives
The aim of this course is to develop students’ understanding of key concepts and principles of data analysis and decision making. Students will become acquainted to the most common statistical and econometric procedures, learning how to apply them in practice and how to implement them on a computer (SPSS). Furthermore, students will be exposed to theoretical and practical knowledge about various aspects of decision making.
