Green Business Strategies
Course Description
Corporate actors are one particular stakeholder group which has to cope with global environmental challenges. Thus the course focuses on corporations and deals with business responses to the widely recognized need for improving environmental performance. The overall goal of the course is to provide an overview of environmental policies and strategies in companies of different sectors. This course will review this young but rapidly growing field of research, and will include an overview of developments from environmental management to sustainable entrepreneurship, different types of instruments, and their effectiveness in improving environmental performance. Case studies that review and critically assess particular green business strategies will be used extensively in the seminar.

- apply and use the gained knowledge in their working environment
