MU Vienna represented by three faculties at ENTER 2019

Concerning MU Vienna Faculty at ENTER2019

Last week MU faculty members visited the ENTER 2019 conference in Nicosia, Cyprus organized by IFITT, the community for e-tourism.

MODUL University Vienna was represented across the event by three of our academic departments.

Dr. Lidija Lalicic from the Department of Tourism and Service Management, who has recently been voted onto the IFITT board, chaired the PhD workshop where 19 students from all over the world presented their work.

Lecturer and PhD student Yuliya Kolomeyts received second prize for the best PhD proposal with her work entitled 'A Text Mining Approach to Measuring and Predicting Service Quality from Online Chatter', supervised by Dr. Astrid Dickinger.

Dr. Christian Weismayer from the Department of Sustainability, Governance and Methods represented a paper entitled 'Drivers of Emotions in Airbnb-Reviews'.

Dr. Lyndon Nixon from the department of New Media and Technology presented research entitled 'The Impact of Visual Social Media on the Projected Image of a Destination: The Case of Mexico City on Instagram'.
