Fall Orientation Week 2017

Fall Orientation week at MODUL University Vienna has been another fantastic opportunity to welcome a fresh new cohort from across Europe and beyond to their new home on Kahlenberg. Over the course of three days 146 new students registered for BBA, BSc, MSc, MBA and PhD programs varying from Tourism, Hotel Management and Operations to Sustainable Development, Management and Policy.

While addressing and welcoming our latest BBA and BSc students, Florian Aubke, Dean of the Undergraduate School took the opportunity to highlight the privilege of a higher education and the importance of self-application. Prof. Aubke was also excited to see what impact this new group would have around the campus, saying:

“We look forward to seeing how you will shape our community with your life experiences, energy and enthusiasm.”

Throughout the week our new Modulians were also offered a tour of Vienna with orientation leaders as well as a full calendar of events featuring a heuriger hike, dinner evening, plus an ice-breaker session at Australian pub and live music venue 'Roo Bar' in Vienna’s beautiful first district. Student Communications Coordinator and Orientation Leader Darrah Lustig says:

"Orientation Week was awesome and we were particularly happy to have so many new students join us for social events."

We wish all of our new students a fantastic start in this new adventure. If you have any questions or concerns about life as a Modulian or student life in general, be sure to make use of the Student Service Center - located near reception.
