Changes to English proficiency requirements for intakes starting with Spring 2024
July 05, 2023
Dear Future Students,
We would like to announce an important update to our English language proficiency requirements for students applying for intakes starting with Spring 2024 (February 2024).
After careful evaluation, we have decided to discontinue the acceptance of the Duolingo English Certificate and Medium of Instruction Letter* as proof of English proficiency.
This change aims to ensure that our students are equipped with the necessary language skills to excel in an English-speaking academic environment.
Detailed information about the updated requirements, accepted tests and score guidelines can be found below, as well as in the Admissions section of our website.
* Exceptions for the Medium of Instruction letter will only be considered for students who are English natives or have completed their high school education entirely in English at recognized International Schools following American, British, or IB curricula.
**Please note that this decision does not impact any of the applicants for the Fall 2023 intake or those who have already been accepted for the Spring 2024 intake.
