Spring Orientation Week 2017

Spring Orientation week at MODUL University Vienna has been another fantastic opportunity to welcome over 40 new students from across Europe and beyond, to our home here on Kahlenberg. From before 09:00 on the first day, our new students started to fill the University with life.

Dean of the undergraduate school Florian Aubke took the opportunity to address our new cohort, highlighting the privilege of a higher education and the importance of self-application. Prof. Aubke was also excited to see what impact this new group would have around the campus, saying:

“We look forward to seeing how you will shape our community with your life experiences, energy and enthusiasm.”

Throughout the week our new Modulians were also offered a tour of Vienna with orientation leaders as well as a full calendar of events featuring a bowling tournament, dinner evening, plus an ice breaker session at Australian pub and live music venue 'Roo Bar' in Vienna’s beautiful first district. Says new student Jonathan Chiao:

“The orientation was good. I learned lots about MU and got to know Vienna and friends from the night events. I really enjoyed it.”

We wish all of our new students a fantastic start in this new academic chapter. If you have any questions or concerns about life as a Modulian or student life in general, be sure to make use of the Student Service Center - located near reception.
