Valeria Croce is Researcher and Lecturer at the MODUL University Vienna, in the department of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Her main research interests concern tourism demand forecasting and regional statistics, with a focus on city tourism in Europe.
At MODUL University Vienna she co-teaches Tourism Economics, Marketing Research and Applied Statistics and holds a seminar on Operational Analysis and Forecasting. She is member of the Research & Statistics Group of
European Cities Marketing and represents MODUL University Vienna, with other colleagues, in the
European Tourism Council Market Intelligence Group.
In her previous position as project manager at the University of Lugano (Switzerland), she has been involved in several research-based projects with the local tourism authorities. She has a 4-years working experience as market researcher by private companies, where she acquired practice with both quantitative and qualitative survey methodologies.
Valeria holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and Communication Sciences, Major in International Tourism (University of Lugano, Switzerland) and a graduate degree in Political Sciences, Major in Economics (University of Pavia, Italy).
