Modul University offers two BBA and one BSc programs with different study specializations. All our bachelor programs share a common body of covering fundamentals of management and business administration, such as financial management, human resources, marketing, information technology and economics as well as communication and personal development courses to improve presentation skills and academic writing, and boost communication abilities. Within every Bachelor program you can choose your specialization.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs allow students to deepen their knowledge of the tourism, hospitality, or events industry and include an internship which provides the opportunity to integrate theoretical concepts in a professional environment and to reflect on professional practice.

BBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management (three-year program)

It is the perfect choice if you want to become a future leader in the tourism and hospitality industry in sectors such as travel and tour operators, hotel consultancy, luxury brand management, cruise, aviation, or other service-oriented industries. It is also an excellent choice if you have prior practical education in the field of tourism and hospitality management (e.g. at a vocational training school). 

A compulsory internship of 900 hours (approximately 4-6 months) during the BBA program enables students to gain first-hand practical experience in a national or international company.

BBA in Tourism, Hotel Management and Operations (four-year program)

With an emphasis on hotel operations and practical training, the four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Tourism, Hotel Management and Operations prepares you for a successful career in the international hotel or food service industry through a unique combination of hotel management skills with a state-of-the art business university degree.

A compulsory internship of 900 hours (approximately 4-6 months) during the BBA program enables students to gain first-hand practical experience in a national or international company.

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Management

The Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Management is a three-year business management degree where students gain state-of-the-art management competencies and leadership skills in an international context. It is the ideal choice for students who have career aspirations in marketing, sales and public relations, finance, human resource management, or want to start their own business.

Students will learn how to develop and implement management strategies, deal with organizational issues related to international business, and manage projects and teams in a global environment. This program approaches international management from various angles including business theory, professional relationships, and problem-solving skills to prepare students for day-to-day management practice. 

In the Principles of Science module, students will gain an understanding of the ‘scientific method’ as a universal strategy for problem-solving in management and other areas of decision-making. They will learn how to design, plan and implement empirical projects of their own.
