Reductions on tuition fees

Early Bird Reduction

Amount: €2.000 (€1.000 per semester)

Eligibility: Application must be submitted by March 15th (Fall semester) and August 15th (Spring semester). The admission process must be completed, and the first tuition fee instalment must be paid by April 1st (Fall semester) and September 1st (Spring semester).

 

  • Not applicable to any Foundation Program courses.
  • It cannot be combined with the MU Alumni Grant or the MCC Scholarship.
  • Can be combined with other scholarships. 

 

Siblings Reduction 

Amount: 10% of the total tuition fees for following siblings 

Eligibility: If you are a sibling of a current student at MU Vienna and also want to study at MU.

 

  • This reduction is not related to a specific study program.  

IB Diploma Reduction

Amount: 10% reduction from the subject tuition fee instalment

Eligibility: Applicants who will or have graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma will receive a reduction of 10% on our Bachelor programs.

  • This reduction can not be combined with the European High School Reduction.

European High School Reduction 

Amount: 5% reduction from the subject tuition fee instalment

Eligibility: Applicants who will or have graduated from a high school located in Austria, the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland will receive a reduction of 5% on our Bachelor programs.

  • This reduction can not be combined with the IB Diploma Reduction. 

Full Tuition Fee Payment Reduction 

Amount: 3% of total study program tuition plus no tuition fee indexation
Eligibility: For applicants who opt to pay the full amount of tuition for the given study program in advance. 

Academic Year Tuition Payment Reduction 

Amount: 1.5% of academic year tuition plus no tuition fee indexation for one year.
Eligibility: For applicants who opt to pay the full amount of tuition for the given study program in advance.

Exclusive GRANTS OFFERED AT MU

MU Alumni Grant

 

Amount:  Depending on your grade point average (GPA) 

 

GPA>95%: 40% of tuition 

GPA>90%: 35% of tuition 
GPA>85%: 30% of tuition 
GPA>80%: 25% of tuition 
GPA>70%: 15% of tuition 

GPA<70%: 10% of tuition

 

Eligibility: If you achieved an undergraduate degree at MU and choose to continue your studies at MU you are eligible for the Alumni Grant.

 

  • Programs: MSc, MBA, PhD

MU Valedictorian Grant

Amount: Depending on your grade point average (GPA) 

GPA>95%: 100% of tuition
GPA<95%: 50% of tuition
  • Eligible candidates shall be informed at the end of each academic year.
  • Programs: MSc, MBA, PhD

Exchange Alumni Grant

Amount: 10% of total tuition

Eligibility: Valid for all students who completed an exchange at MU in the previous 2 academic years before application.

  • Not applicable to any Foundation Program courses
  • Programs: BA, BBA, MSc, MBA, PhD

 

US Veterans Affairs Funding

For applicants from the US eligible for education benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs under the Post-9/11 GI Bill (PGIB), or Chapter 33, Modul University Vienna is an approved institution for the following programs:
  • BSc in International Management
  • BSc in Applied Data Science
  • MSc in International Tourism Management
  • MSc in Management
  • MSc in Sustainable Development, Management and Policy
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Note that students receiving VA benefits may not participate in an (optional) internship in the completion of their program. For details on the exact the funding benefits available, please contact the VA. Eligible candidates follow the standard admission process to Modul University Vienna and subsequent student residency permit application.
