Ways You Can Study Abroad
- Study Abroad: A semester or full academic year at one of our partner institutions. Students pay tuition fees to the host institution. MU offers three dedicated Study Abroad programs for outgoing students.
- Exchange: A semester or full academic year at a partner institution under a bilateral Inter-Institutional Agreement. Exchange students are exempt from tuition fees at the host institution (fee waiver). Places are limited by the quotas agreed in each partnership agreement.

What Is a Student Exchange?
MU maintains bilateral agreements with partner institutions worldwide, allowing exchange students to study abroad without paying host tuition, remain enrolled at MU, and transfer credits seamlessly through a Learning Agreement.

As the institution grows, MU’s network is constantly expanding to offer more opportunities for students to travel and study abroad.
Eligibility
- Good academic standing at MU
- Language proficiency: B2 CEFR minimum in the language of instruction at the host
- Subject area and level must match the exchange agreement
APPLY FOR AN EXCHANGE
- Browse the list of exchange institutions and make a selection of your top 2 favorites.
- Apply internally at MU by clicking on the apply for exchange button below.
- Nominated students will also need to submit an application to the host institution directly. After students have been nominated by MU, the host institution shares details about the application and course registration procedure.
