INTERNSHIPS
Internships are an integral part of our study programs, offering hands-on experience and industry exposure. Whether mandatory or optional, they are a great way to gain real-world insights and enhance your employability. MU supports students in preparing for their job search and provide guidance on where to find internships.
Curricular internships
Several programs at Modul University Vienna have a mandatory internship included in the curriculum. For curricular internships, students have to complete the Internship Preparatory Course which will equip them with the knowledge and skills they need in order to find and complete the required internship.
We also encourage and facilitate student participation in prestigious international events and competitions, including ITB-Berlin, Young Hotelier Summit-Switzerland, HULT Prize-New York, HYATT Student Prize-Paris, and Accor Take Off-Paris.
Professional Development
This course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully secure and complete an internship. Through interactive workshops, expert guest speakers, and hands-on assignments, this course ensures that students are well-prepared to transition from academia to the professional world.
