Student Clubs at MU Vienna: Discover, Connect, and Thrive!

Education goes beyond the classroom. Joining a student club is not just about picking up a new interest or hobby—it's an opportunity to make lifelong friends, de-stress, and make the most of your time at MU Vienna.

Our student-led clubs organize regular activities throughout the academic year, providing a platform for you to showcase your talents, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and contribute to the vibrant campus life.

From board games to photography, we're sure there's a club for everyone. However, if none of the existing clubs grab your interest you can always start your own!

Engaging with MU's Student Clubs is a fantastic way to explore your passions, develop new skills, and broaden your horizons. It's an invitation to discover, connect, and thrive.

How to start a club

Starting a new MU Club is a great way to get involved in the Modul community and connect with your fellow students. You can share your unique talents and gain valuable experience as a club leader.  It's super easy to get started:

Step 1: Develop an idea & name for your club - Make sure your idea does not duplicate an existing club listed below

Step 2: Gather members & select leaders: There must be a minimum of 5 members of which a President (mandatory), Vice President (Mandatory), and Treasurer (Mandatory)

Step 3: Complete and submit the  and include a signed copy of the Student Club Registration Form and include a signed copy of the Founding Document. The document, included in the form, must be downloaded, filled out, and signed by the President, Vice President, and Treasurer, then re-uploaded to the form before submission

Step 4: The Student Service Center will review the form and contact the President for approval or additional amendments/clarifications. Once approved, develop a basic semester plan of activities and get started as an official MU Club!

THE Club

”
Being part of THE Club has completely changed how I see campus life. It’s not just about organizing events, it’s about connecting ideas, people, and experiences that shape your future in hospitality. I’ve learned teamwork, creativity, and how much impact a small group can make. Although we are still at the start, i think, this project is a unique asset to possess as the concept is literally unmatched.

The Language Exchange Club has combined a unique way of learning with fun. Being apart of it has shown me how diverse and vibrant our university community is. It’s a very nice way of building friendships and connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Debate Club

”
It is hard running a new club which is also new for the university. We have many people who don't feel confident in joining and participating which is why we try to promote this club to teach them how to communicate. This club is important to us because we aim to empower people's voices and make them feel heard. So far, we've enjoyed the clubs fair the most because it allowed us to talk to people who are interested in the club and show them what it truly is about.
