Getting more out of MU

University is not always just about the study program you have chosen to study, it is also learning and developing soft skills that prepare you for life and gaining experiences that can set your CV apart.

Of course, you will meet new people from all walks of life on your program and there will be plenty of opportunity to collaborate with them with group work. However, there is more to be discovered. You could join or start a student club giving you the chance to socialize with like-minded individuals and grow your friendship base, or you could apply to work for the university as an Ambassador representing MU and inspire the next cohort of students.

Another way to get more out of your time at MU, you have access to learn or develop your language skills. As an English-speaking university, German language skills are not mandatory in order to study at Modul, however some students might feel learning or improving their German language skills could enhance their experience of living and studying in Vienna.

Students can enroll in A-level German courses on campus at MU, or we also work with several language institutes across Vienna who offer a diverse selection of languages at various levels, accommodating different schedules and maximizing flexibility for each student.

While all these courses are not mandatory, this is a great opportunity to study a foreign language and enrich your university experience.

All students at universities in Austria form part of Austrian Student Union (Österreichische HochschülerInnenschaft - ÖH). Each year, elections are held to select representatives for the MU ÖH. These elected representatives act as advocates for the MU student community both on campus and at various internal university committees. They also encourage participation from the MU community, organizing a range of events throughout the semester.
