In an era marked by geopolitical rivalry, global insecurity, and pressing international challenges, the School of International Relations equips students and researchers with the critical skills to analyze, interpret, and respond to world politics.

 

Our programs combine rigorous theoretical foundations with applied insights, ensuring graduates are prepared for careers in diplomacy, policy, security analysis, NGOs, international organizations, media, and business. Located in Vienna —a historic hub of diplomacy and international cooperation — we bring together scholars and practitioners to study and shape the world of tomorrow.

Their work combines historical depth with contemporary relevance, emphasizing the intersection of theory, policy, and practice.
