Modul University celebrates the completion of your studies and welcomes you to our exceptional Alumni community with our annual summer graduation ceremonies. Students do the cap and gown to receive their diplomas and make wonderful memories with friends and family. After which Alumni will be invited back for Reunions and a selection of networking events such as Career Day and Innovation Nights.

As an MU Alumni Mentor, you'll be matched with a final-year student to share your experiences, offer career guidance, and help them build confidence as they prepare for life after graduation.

The program is designed to last one semester - approximately from the beginning of March to the end of June - and to fit around your schedule, in agreement with the mentee. Whether you meet virtually or in person, your experience can have a lasting impact.

Modul University really helped me find my footing professionally. I took a career seminar on how to approach job interviews, and that directly led to my internship at OMV, which was an important first step into the professional world. Later on, through a staff member at MU, I got a working student position at a South African software development company. Both experiences gave me practical insight and confirmed my interest in consulting. My advice to students: Make the most of everything Modul offers, both inside and outside the classroom. Go to seminars, talk to your professors, and take every chance to gain hands-on experience. Try your best, aim for good results, and get as much exposure to the industry as you can. It is not only about what you know but also about how you apply it and who you meet along the way.

An MBA had long been my dream, though for years it felt out of reach because of the high tuition costs. Thanks to the MODUL University MBA Merit Fellowship, which covered nearly all of my tuition, that dream finally became achievable. At 27, with some professional experience behind me, studying at MODUL - alongside inspiring colleagues from around the world - was both a personal challenge and a formative experience. To current and future MODULians, I’d say: don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Never feel less capable or less deserving because your path may look different (i.e. more linear), or because you come from a more modest background. If you’re at MU, you are there for a reason - you have the potential to do great things, make a difference, and contribute meaningfully to society.
