Astrid Dickinger is Full Professor and Head of the School of Tourism and Service Management at MODUL University Vienna, where she also serves as Dean of the PhD Program and Graduate School. She earned her Master?s, Doctorate, and Habilitation at Vienna University of Economics and Business, and held academic positions there before joining MODUL. Her research explores conscious consumer behavior, sustainable destination development, open innovation, and smart service design. She has published in leading journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of Sustainable Tourism and Journal of Travel Research to name a few. She was visiting scholar at the University of Western Australia and Temple University. Astrid contributed extensively to curriculum development at MODUL. Widely recognized in her field, she serves on editorial boards, conference committees, and as a reviewer.
