Non-EU students requiring a visa to study in Austria
The university can issue the documents which are required to obtain a student visa only after the first payment has been received in full.
Applicants from non-EU countries applying for a "Residency Permit Student" in Austria should keep in mind that the immigration authorities require all applicants to present proof of having sufficient financial means to cover their cost of living for the first year (around EUR 13.000). The overall amount that must be presented in advance at the time of applying!

We have 4 payment options for new students joining MU. Once you have been conditionally or fully accepted, and received your study contract, you will also be asked to notify us of your payment preference. A detailed payment plan will then be issued along with your first invoice.
With any of the options, the initial payment deadline is 3 weeks from the date your Admission Offer Letter and Study Contract is sent to you.
You can choose to pay your full program tuition fees in one payment and will receive 7% discount. The payment deadline is 3 weeks from being issued your Admission Offer letter.
You can choose to pay for 2 semesters (1 academic year) and will receive 5% discount.
You can pay per semester and receive 2% discount For new students, you will be invoiced upon confirmation of acceptance, and for current students invoicing and payment is due before December 15th (Spring semester) or July 15th (Fall semester).
If you choose to pay monthly, we will split your semester payment into 5 instalments of 20%. Your first payment will be due within 3 weeks of your Admission Offer letter being sent. Remaining payments for your first semester will then fall on the 15th of each month there after.
For subsequent semesters (2nd semester onwards), monthly payments will be due as follows:

Please note: Payments via monthly instalments are on a regular payment schedule. If you do not keep up with these payments, your study contract can be terminated, and we will notify Austrian Authorities to remove any rights to a Visa if applicable. Please also note that deferring by a semester does not change the original payment schedule.
