Getting involved

Joining a student club at MU Vienna is an excellent way to enhance your university experience and to feel connected. With a wide range of clubs catering to various interests, you will surely find one that suits you.

The Student Life Fair, held early in the semester, provides the perfect opportunity to explore and join any club that catches your attention. The best part? Joining a club is free, and even if you missed the initial sign up, you can still join mid-semester by simply walking into the Student Services Center (SSC) office and expressing your interest.

Setting up a club at MU Vienna is also remarkably straightforward, making it a unique opportunity not offered by every university.

This program invites motivated individuals to actively participate in events, marketing initiatives, and recruitment activities.

As a Student Ambassador, you will serve as a vital connection between our university and the wider community. By sharing your personal experiences and insights, you will provide others with a glimpse into the unique student life at Modul University Vienna. This could involve visiting your old high school to present Modul University, attending recruitment fairs with members of our Recruitment team, or being present on campus during open days. Student Ambassadors should also be encouraging fellow students to get involved and think outside the box in terms of spreading the news about MU as a study destination.

In Austria, since 2014, all students at private universities form part of Austrian Student Union (Österreichische HochschülerInnenschaft - ÖH). Upon enrolling, all students pay a nominal membership fee for this. Representatives at every university are then elected on a yearly basis and act as advocates for students’ interests. They also represent the student body to the university and provide representation for the students in all different committees of the university.

One of the university committees students can be involved with is the Sustainability Committee. As sustainability is one of our core values, this is a great opportunity to get involved with initiatives and contribute to real change within the university.
