MU Celebrates Excellence at Tourismusstars

Modul University Vienna proudly took part in this year’s Tourismusstars gala, held in the prestigious Orangerie at Schloss Schönbrunn. The event brought together leading voices in Austria’s tourism sector to celebrate outstanding achievements and forward-looking innovation shaping the future of the industry.

Representing Modul University Vienna, Prof. Karl Wöber, Prof. Astrid Dickinger, Prof. Ulrich Gunter, and Ms. Aleksandra Izdebska highlighted the university’s strong connection to the tourism and hospitality sector. Their presence reflects MU’s ongoing commitment to bridging academic excellence with real-world industry impact, in line with its mission to foster globally minded, future-ready leaders.

A key highlight of the evening was the Young Generation Award, proudly sponsored by Modul University Vienna. This award underscores MU’s dedication to nurturing emerging talent and empowering the next generation of industry leaders. Congratulations to this year’s recipient, David Oberlindober, General Manager of Alpin Resort Sacher in Seefeld, whose achievements exemplify innovation, leadership, and excellence in tourism.
