In his address, the President extended congratulations to the students for joining the MU community—now over 1,000 students strong and representing more than 80 nationalities, including around 250 based in Nanjing.

He highlighted MU’s vision to deliver world-class education and to nurture graduates who will make a meaningful contribution to society.

“At Modul University Vienna we teach our students 4 important values: (1) Knowledge, Creativity and Innovation, seem obvious, but also: (2) Personal Integrity, (3) Mutual Respect, and (4) Responsibility and Stewardship. (...) I argue that these values are the most important educational goals that we at Modul University will impart to you. They should not only be incorporated into your university education, but everyday life of everyone. Especially today, as we look toward the future, we need you to adopt these values, and to live these values.”
